What's Inside the 65 Science Worksheets

Instead of searching for another printable every time your class moves from life cycles to the five senses, weather, animals, matter, forces, or another science concept, you'll have a broad set of practice pages ready to use throughout the year.
Here's a look at the science topics covered and the kinds of activities children will do.
Use One Page Today. Keep the Rest Ready for Later.
You don't have to go through the collection from page 1 to page 65. Take weather, for example. There are pages for matching weather words to pictures, identifying different weather conditions, and drawing the weather in your area. You can choose what works for your lesson and use the other pages for centers, review, or extra practice.

These four real samples show different types of practice: labeling plant parts, matching weather words to pictures, identifying light sources and shadows, and making observations in a guided investigation.
63 No-Prep Pages + 2 Guided Hands-On Activities

Student pages 1-63 are print-and-go. Some call for scissors, glue, pencils, or crayons, but you won't need to cut pieces out ahead of time, laminate cards, or assemble anything before using them.
We outlined the cut-and-paste pieces so children can see where to cut. On sorting pages, the boxes are labeled to help them understand where each picture belongs. Many activities also use pictures alongside written directions to make the instructions easier to follow.
The last two pages are different. On Observe and Record Plant Growth (student p. 64), children plant a seed and record how it changes over time. On Predict and Observe: Will It Dissolve? (student p. 65), they test sugar, salt, sand, and cooking oil in water and write down what they observe. Both activities need simple materials and adult or teacher guidance.
More Topics and Teaching Support
You'll also get a table of contents, a How to Use guide, teacher tips, an overview of the skills covered, and answer keys. The keys cover activities with fixed answers; children's drawings, predictions, and observations may be different.

Questions About the Collection
Do I need to print all 65 student pages?
No. Print the pages that match the topic you're teaching. There is no required order across the topics. A few activities use related pages, such as the human-body labeling activity and its cutout labels on Student Pages 34-35, so print those together when needed.
Are all 65 student pages no-prep?
Student Pages 1-63 are print-and-go and ready to use with normal classroom supplies. Some pages use student scissors and glue, but no teacher cutting or assembly is needed. Student Pages 64-65 are guided hands-on activities requiring simple materials and adult or teacher guidance.
Does this include hands-on science activities?
Yes. Two student pages support guided plant-growth observation and a dissolving investigation. The rest of the collection focuses on printable science practice rather than a sequence of experiment lessons.
Is this a complete science curriculum?
No. It's printable science practice to use alongside lessons, home instruction, or review, not a complete science curriculum.
What grade level is this best for?
Especially midyear and late kindergarten, with beginning first-grade review use. Some science vocabulary and concepts benefit from adult discussion or teacher modeling.
Are answer keys included?
Yes. Answer keys are included for activities with fixed answers. Open-ended drawings, predictions, and observations may have different reasonable responses.
Is this a physical book or a digital download?
It is a printable digital PDF download. Nothing is mailed.
