Learning to read opens up many opportunities to develop other important skills. When my daughter was little, she had difficulty with reading. She could read the sentences but could not understand the meaning of those sentences. As she worked hard to advance her reading skills, she began to understand more in general. She became better at other subjects such as math and social studies. Once children are used to reading, it is important for them to answer some questions regarding the reading material to make sure they comprehend the content of the reading material. We have some worksheets for you to start practicing these skills. I hope you take advantage of them!
