Hi everyone! The beautiful spring season is finally here and to celebrate the arrival of spring, we have introduced new spring worksheets. We have a total of 13 spring worksheets that cover a wide range of subjects. They are patterns, vocabulary, English, spring activity, addition, coloring, counting, flowers, maze, numbers, phonics, reading, spelling, subtraction, and math worksheets all based around the spring theme. Well, it’s that time of the year again. The day everyone enjoys the company of their loved ones and gets the opportunity to show appreciation for them. To celebrate this special occasion, we have created several Valentine’s Day worksheets for all to enjoy. We’ve put concerted effort in creating a cute Valentine’s Day greeting card this year. We also have a new Valentine’s Day bunny coloring activity for Valentine’s Day 2013.

Cute Thanksgiving Vowel Lesson

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Before the holiday season begins, we have decided to create a Thanksgiving themed vowel lesson which you can find on our Teachers Pay Teachers store. It is an interactive lesson booklet that explains what vowels are and allows children to identify vowels within Thanksgiving related words. This is a wonderful way for students to learn Thanksgiving words as well as vowels. There is also a lesson on short vowels. Kids will learn what short vowels sound like and also learn to identify them. To show our gratitude for your support, it is free for a limited time…so hurry! We also have several free Thanksgiving worksheets available for download. They are a great way for children to learn about Thanksgiving and familiarize themselves with Thanksgiving related items. I know how hectic it gets during this time of the year. These worksheets will be perfect because the children can work on them by themselves. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Worksheets for Halloween

Halloween is one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. Both kids and adults get to dress up in their favorite costumes without being looked at as strange. While some adults get to satisfy their superhero complex, kids also look forward to this holiday for various reasons. For whatever reason, everyone loves this holiday.

This is also one of the perfect times for mixing fun with learning. Kids often absorb the most when they are having fun. Why not take this great opportunity to freshen up on what they’ve learned so far or give them new learning materials?

We have created 4 new free Halloween worksheets for kids. The first one is a Halloween reading worksheet that allows students to nurture their reading skills. The second one is a Halloween word problems worksheet that helps kids become accustomed to math word problems. Many students have trouble with word problems so it would be helpful to be exposed to these problems from an early stage. The third worksheet is a Halloween connect the dots worksheet. This is a fun activity worksheet for kids but it also allows them to review counting. The last one is another activity worksheet where kids draw the other half of a Jack-o’-lantern. Through this worksheet, students can learn about symmetry.

Getting Ready for the School Year!

I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful and HOT summer! In about 2 months, school will start again and so will the hectic days…

Summer is a great time to freshen up on the material that kids have learned over the past year. Because the summer vacation is so long, many kids often forget some basic lessons that will help them succeed in the next grade. It is a great idea to make sure that they truly understand the material so that they will be able to take what they’ve learned to the next level. Learning is like a building block. If there is no firm foundation, the building will collapse.

In order to assist with reviewing the study material from the past year, we have come up with a few worksheets for students who are proceeding to the next grade.

Here are a few worksheets that are perfect for reviewing vocabulary and math skills.

Two New Collections of Kindergarten Worksheets

We just released two new collections of premium kindergarten worksheets. They are our Premium Alphabet Worksheets Collection and our Premium Numbers Worksheets Collection. Each is being sold for only 99 cents on our Kindergarten Worksheets Store. There has been a lot of interest in our free alphabet and numbers categories so we decided to offer premium versions.

Our Premium Alphabet Worksheets Collection includes 52 premium kindergarten worksheets. Kindergarteners will get to practice writing letters, learn new words, and complete fun review worksheets. The alphabet worksheets covers two letters at a time. First, a student will practice writing a letter. Then they will learn words that start with the letter and practice writing them as well. After every two letters, there will be two review worksheets. This is where the teacher will be able to reinforce the material that was just covered and see how much the student has retained.

Our Premium Numbers Worksheets Collection includes 35 premium kindergarten worksheets. Kids will get to find, identify, and match numbers. They will also be able to color and write numbers. Rote counting worksheets from 1 to 100 are also included. Rote counting is the act of counting verbally.
